Very cozy, good middle-class restaurant with an ingenious wheat beer. Unfortunately, this is only available in wholesale ..... the food is delicious, hot and really freshly prepared. A good choice to stop there.

Nice atmosphere in the historic vaulted cellar, we come here regularly. Manageable menu with delicious dishes at always very good quality. Our favorite is the vault steak.

The food was, as announced by our acquaintances, which is commonly called "good middle-class". It was ok, but not really outstanding. Unfortunately, if you go out in the evening, more or less at 21:30 out complimented. Was very pity, because we would like to have another drink with our acquaintances continue. But there seems to be Usus. Too bad.

Great conditions. Food was great and fresh. The vegetables tasted like nuts. No TK vegetables. We were very satisfied. There is only an asterisk deduction because it smelled musty in the vaulted cellar. Otherwise, everything is great!

The first impression is god where have I ended up now, the cellar is really a dugout cellar small and a bit 70s with all that oak. But it has something. Food was really tasty and all for a reasonable price.

Great food prepared in the old German style. The name literally means "Old City Basement" and it is indeed in a basement, but it is COZY. Older Oma and Opa ("Mom and Pop") proprietors who move a bit slower but provide great food and service. Menu includes traditional Schnitzels, wursts, and potato dishes at reasonable prices (around 10 to 15 € per dish). Be prepared to break out your German skills, because there are neither English menus nor English speakers. If you want Old Germany, and good food, off the beaten path, this is the place. The surrounding city of Bad Camberg is beautifully Old World. Reservations are recommended, especially during mealtimes.

Very delicious food at fair prices. Attentive and quick service. At the weekend you should definitely reserve a table here. The classic is the vaulted steak (see photo), which I can warmly recommend to everyone. However, he should like garlic.
